I expect this cover will aid in keeping the printer clean and help control the internal humidity.Ĭost savings of the large ink cartridges, powered roll feed and the vacuum hold down function are three primary reasons to choose this printer over other less expensive 17" printers. I purchased the P5000 for personal use only, and added a DigitalDeckCovers cover which is very similar to the TUMI cover I had used in the past. Simple nozzle cleaning has always restored full functioning, as needed. My use in the past has been to print a few hundred 8x10 sheets in a week, followed by a few months of infrequent perso. Nevertheless, although these printers all are suggested to be better recommended for situations where they will have frequent use, I have been quite satisfied with intermittent job printing. This SureColor P5000 printer will be used lightly, for the forseeable future. I've used those printers for event printing in the past. Fiery eXpress now supports the new ISO 12647-2 reference profiles (PSOcoated_v3 / PSOuncoated_v3_Fogra52.icc) and corresponding Fogra 51 & 52 characterization data.I've owned the Epson Stylus Pro 4000, 48.
